OREANDA-NEWS. July 16, 2010. Domodedovo Catering Service has formally opened new bakery section. Re-equiped facility optimizes procedures, reduces the volume of manual work and increases performance. All the mentioned now make the process compliant to unique quality standard.

There are two primary directions of activities: in-flight catering including its delivery on board and unloading with later processing of unused catering equipment.

The applied technologies allow for cooking meals served in various classes from economy to elite both for Russian and foreign airlines.

Domodedovo Catering Service is one of the largest companies engaged in production and delivery of in-flight catering in the Eastern Europe and the CIS providing to its partner airlines up to 70 000 food rations daily. At the moment the Company is going through reconstruction of its premises. The building will occupy the territory of 2.4 hectares instead of the current 2.2 hectares when finished.

Moscow Domodedovo Airport is the largest airport of Russia. Its market share in total passenger traffic in Moscow makes 46%. At the moment 75 partner airlines (47 foreign including 12 representing the CIS States and 28 Russian) connecting over 230 destinations operate flights all over the world. The unique route network covered by Domodedovo partner airlines provides for 92 exclusive destinations. In 2009 18,7 million passengers benefited from Domodedovo services.
