OREANDA-NEWS. July 16, 2010. The measures in the line of preparation work to autumn –winter season is continued in Azerbaijan TPP as in all power systems of the republic. Lets` remind that, the power plant is consist of eight power blocks each power by 300 MW.

More than 304,9 million kWh electric power was produced in June of the current year. And it is 938 000 more than predicted. About 2,5 milliard kWh electric power was produced during 6 months of the current year but 2 milliard 477 million kWh was predicted. And it is  20,3 million kWh more than predicted.

Lets` note that, out-of-tuned parts in power blocks and in  their subsidiary equipments were substituted   with new ones in order to continue normal activity of Azerbaijan TPP. As a result of it, the technical – economical factors  are improved in comparison with the present situation  of power block equipments. At the same time, the main part of preparation work to the season was carried out. By the way, the channels of flood were cleaned of slit and mud  and construction of new flood transmission channels are performed. Beside all these, roof covers of car hall number 1 and 2 were repaired.  

It was also informed by the source that, reconstruction work carried out the power block number 2 is going to be finished. And the reconstruction work are continued in power blocks number 1 and 8. At the same time, the necessary work are carried out in other  power blocks and subsidiary equipments. 

Ground work is carried out in the feeding channel of tunnel number 2. Silted parts inside the tunnel were washed.  In additional, different setting repair work are carried out in open type switch yard by 330 and 500 kV.

Last supplement work are performed in the line of construction of 6 reserve black oil vats each capacity by 20 k/m in the territory of power plant. By the way, construction of subsidiary technological equipments  are continued.
