CPC Will Offer Jobs to Astrakhan Residents
OREANDA-NEWS. July 16, 2010. ZАО Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) intends not only to continue social programs in the Astrakhan Region, but also to expand production capacities with compulsory involvement of local residents. This was conveyed at meeting to Governor Alexander Zhilkin by CPC General Director Alexander Tarakanov, reported the press-centre of CPC.
Welcoming the guest, Alexander Zhilkin underlined that “the Astrakhan Region is very much interested in the development of Caspian Pipeline Consortium. The Corporation pursues a socially-oriented policy”.
Besides, also today Alexander Zhilkin and Alexander Tarakanov jointly attended the function of handing over the equipment for the Toxicological Department of the Alexandro-Mariinskaya Hospital. The function was sponsored by CPC. And the total amount of CPC investments in the social projects on the territory of the Astrakhan Region, according to the Governor, reached nearly RUR 200 million.
“The Astrakhan Region and CPC have always enjoyed warm and friendly relations, - Alexander Tarakanov said. – We feel continuous support of the Region and this, so to speak, is a unique situation”. According to the guest, apart from business, the Company is always interested in social sphere as well. The Shareholders, as he put it, support this area. “Expansion of production capacities will do much good for the Region in terms of territory development and additional jobs. Employment will be necessarily offered to local residents”, - the General Director assured the Governor.
