OREANDA-NEWS. July 16, 2010. Deputy Head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) Pavel Subbotin had a working meeting with the acting Governor of Kemerovo region, Valentin Mazikin. The meeting took place at Kemerovo Regional Authority, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

In course of negotiations, the parties discussed economic situation in the region and the issues of antimonopoly regulation of the work of the government agencies in the region as well as the Regional Programme for Developing Competition.

The outcome of the meeting between Head of the antimonopoly authority and the acting Governor of Kemerovo region was signing the Agreement on Cooperation between FAS Russia and the Collegium of Kemerovo Regional Authority. Under the Agreement, the Collegium of Kemerovo Regional Authority shall consider all proposals forwarded by FAS Russia. The Antimonopoly Service, in its turn, shall inform the Collegium about incidents of unfair competition discovered by FAS Russia. The Antimonopoly Service also undertakes obligations to provide consultations and present the findings of its analysis and monitoring of markets in the Kemerovo region.
