OREANDA-NEWS. July 15, 2010. Dmitry Medvedev, Russia's President, has visited the forum jointly with other high ranked Russian officials including Sergei Naryshkin, Chief of the President's Administration, Sergei Sobyanin, Chief of the Central Office of the Government of the Russian Federation, Igor Schegolev, Russia's Minister of Telecommunications and Mass Media, Andrei Fursenko, Russia's Minister of Education, Dmitry Zelenin, Governor of the Tver region. In the course of the meeting of the Council for Information Technologies Dmitry Medvedev was speaking about mass implementation of information technologies in all social spheres. 

The participants of the forum were able to follow the course of the Council's meeting in a live broadcast organized by CenterTelecom. The guests of the forum were also able to take part in a video conference session with a group of senior people who took part in CenterTelecom's social project "Age is Not an Obstacle for Internet Literacy." CenterTelecom presented to the guests of its stand its other newest services including IP TV, video conferencing, VPN services, products related to multi-service network etc.

Dmitry Zelenin, Governor of the Tver region, visited CenterTelecom's stand in the last day of the forum. In the course of the Governor's visit a new cooperation agreement have been signed by Vaagn Martirosyan, General Director, CenterTelecom, and by Mr. Zelenin. The Governor said that he values CenterTelecom's contribution to the development of telecommunications in the region pointing out that the previous cooperation agreement has been completed in full and in time.
