OREANDA-NEWS. July 15, 2010. Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov entrusted relevant ministries to develop a medium-term budget plan for years 2011-2012 for housing and communal services. He said this during today’s Government session.

"I set the task to develop a medium-term budget plan for 2011-2012" - said Mykola Azarov. "To believe that during one season one can change anything is the desecration" - he said.

Mykola Azarov also directed the First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Andriy Klyuyev to hold next week a special meeting on preparation of the national economy for the autumn-winter period: "In it, we should clearly define priorities, risk zone, to approve the beacons to be achieved during 2010-2011 season concerning the quality of public services, sustainable transportation, disease prevention, etc. People need to know and see what they give their hard-earned hryvnia for.

"I mean the entire preparation - beginning from replacement of heating systems, repairing boilers, insulation of houses, to provision of vaccination against seasonal infections and establishment of necessary stock of drugs" - the Head of Government stressed.

He noted that the Government was forced to cut budget expenditures this year, but at the same time resources devoted to health care and other social needs, were not limited: "So, we have every right to ask for a comprehensive preparation for winter, as they say, to the utmost".
