The UX picked up 0.96% yesterday to 1,933.79, snapping a four day skid, as exchanges elsewhere in Europe also saw moderate gains. Total equity turnover on the UX amounted to just UAH 57.7 mln. The three most active names by volume were Alchevsk Iron & Steel (ALMK UK), up 0.95% on UAH 9.6 mln in volume; Ukrnafta (UNAF UK), up 1.45% on UAH 7.4 mln; and Ukrsotsbank (USCB UK), up 1.20% on UAH 7.0 mln. The PFTS also finished its session in the green, rising 0.41% to 798.43. On the interbank forex market, the hryvnya closed at UAH/USD 7.902.
