OREANDA-NEWS. July 14, 2010. The press-service of Central Bank informs that on 1st June 2010 total amount of credit investments in Azerbaijan economy made 8733,5 million manat. This indicator in comparison with the same period of time of last year increased by 37,4%. 383,6 million manat of credit investments fell to the share of past-due loans, reported the press-centre of CBA.

28,4% of the credits or 2482,3 million manat were granted into home industry. The volume of credits directed to the trade and service spheres was 1882,3 million manat (21,6%). 445,7 million manat (5,1%) fell to the share of transport and communication spheres, 605,7 million manat (6,9%) to the share of industry and production.

1503,3 million manat or 17,2% were granted to the energy, chemistry and national resources spheres, 395,8 million manat or 4,5% to the agriculture and processing spheres, 589,2 million manat (6,7%) to the construction and property spheres, 49,8 million manat or 0,6% directed to other spheres.

On 1st June of 2010 2345,0 million manat (26,9%) of credits were short-term credits, 6388,5 million manat (73,1%) long-term credits. 183,2 million manat of short-term credits or 7,8%, 200,4 million manat or 3,1% of long-term credits are past-due loans.

There were invested credits into economy by state bank 4017,4 million manat (46,0%), by private banks 4533,6 million manat (51,9%), by non-bank credits organizations 182,4 million manat (2,1%).

There were granted into economy of Azerbaijan by banks, founded on a foreign capitals 2154,2 million manat, so the total weight of its credit investments equal 24,7%. The banks are using 100% of foreign capitals granted 435,3 million (5,0%) credits.

5223,3 million manat or 59,8% of credits were granted in national currency, 3510,2 million manat or 40,2% in foreign currency.
