Air Malta Offers New Flights from Domodedovo Airport

OREANDA-NEWS. July 13, 2010. During the high season Moscow Domodedovo Airport and its partner airlines are ready to offer travelers interesting destinations to spend their vacation. Thus Air Malta offers to its passengers a flight from Moscow to one of the most beautiful islands in the Mediterranean – Malta.

The flight schedule looks as follows:

National air carrier of the Republic of Malta launched operations of the route Malta (Luqa) – Moscow (Domodedovo) on March 28 2001. Years of cooperation between the airline and the airport saw 196 thousand passengers carried.

At the moment Air Malta established in 1973 offers a selection of around 40 scheduled destinations to Europe, North Africa and the Eastern Mediterranean. The airline has a fleet of 12 Airbus A320 and A319 configured in business and economy. Air Malta is now also expanding its intra European network and currently operates scheduled services from Catania and Reggio Calabria.

Moscow Domodedovo Airport is the largest airport of Russia. Its market share in total passenger traffic in Moscow makes 46%. At the moment 75 partner airlines (47 foreign including 12 representing the CIS States and 28 Russian) connecting over 230 destinations operate flights all over the world. The unique route network covered by Domodedovo partner airlines provides for 92 exclusive destinations. In 2009 18,7 million passengers benefited from Domodedovo services.
