OREANDA-NEWS. July 13, 2010. The company "Euro Leasing" has acted as the gold sponsor of the Charitable Picnic which was held and organized annually by the American Chamber of Commerce in honour of an Independence Day of the United States.

Over 4,000 people attended the Picnic. Everyone could take pleasure in tasty meal and cold beverages, delight live musical entertainment from well-known performers, have a fun with children on specially equipped kids` playground, participate in various contests and receive prizes from sponsors of the event. Grand Raffle and drawing of value presents from sponsors at the end of a holiday became already traditional. The company "Euro Leasing" presented 4 gift certificates for 14 days of car rental services of “business” class car. Certificates have received: Tetyana Kutenkova, Roman Novikov, Ruzanna Kolyaka (Ernst & Young) and Valeriy Salov (Volya Cable).

Fund raising for assistance to charitable projects, which are hold in Ukraine nowadays, became one of the main purposes of carrying out of the Picnic. The money obtained for tickets, lotteries and souvenirs have passed on charity.

Anastasiia Steklova, Euro Leasing Deputy General manager in Sales, Marketing and Service, commented: “Social responsibility is defined by one of the principles in activity of our enterprise; we on a constant basis support to various charitable projects. Participation in such kind of events gives the chance to us to help unfortunate children and to bring the contribution to development of a healthy society of our country. We are glad to be a part of destinies of people, influence public opinion, raising charity problems, and to be an example for realization of similar activity by other companies".    

Thus, in 2008 "Euro Leasing" has been started the project "Cheerful children's ambulance". The enterprise till today renders material support and assistance to orphanages which are outside of Kiev and need it most of all. During existence of the project employees of the company have repeatedly visited the orphanages of Boguslav and Chernigov. In July of this year the next trip to orphanage "Obereg" (Boguslav) is planned. Besides the support with essential commodities, clothes and toys, employees of the company will organize for children unforgettable week-end on a fresh air with obligatory attributes - carrying out of active games and tasty meal.
