OREANDA-NEWS. July 13, 2010. The Chinese delegation from Shandong province visited the "Brest" FEZ administration.

(Reference: Shandong Province is located at the northeast coast of China in the bottom current of Huang He ("Yellow river").

The area of the province is 156,7 sq.km. The population is 94,5 million people. It is the second in population province of China. The province administrative centre - the city of Ji'nan ( apprx. 2 million people). Shandong produces 15 % of the gross national product of China).

In the "Brest" FEZ administration the representatives of the Chinese delegation got acquainted with the conditions of economic activities in the FEZ. They got answers to all the questions about customs and tax privileges in FEZ, and also were informed about prospects for the investors connected with coming into force the Agreement on the Customs Union of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan.

The visit ended by signing an Agreement on Co-operation between the private JS LLC " Jiangsu Weida International Trade Co." (The People’s Republic of China), representation in Belarus, and the "Brest" FEZ administration. According to the mentioned agreement, this company will represent the FEZ interests in Shandong province, China.
