Vnesheconombank Signed Loan Agreements
OREANDA-NEWS. July 12, 2010. Within the scope of the Common Terms Agreement, a second financing tranche in the form of a SACE Facility Agreement for the amount of USD 686,1 million was signed between State Corporation “Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank)” and a club of banks including Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank (CA-CIB), Deutsche Bank AG, Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A., ING Bank N.V., Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking (Initial Mandated Lead Arrangers & Bookrunners) and KFW IPEX-Bank GMBH and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation Europe Limited (Mandated Lead Arrangers). The aim of the SACE Facility Agreement is to finance a contract between OOO ‘Tobolsk-Polymer” and
Furthermore, two Commercial Loan Facilities were also signed within the scope of the Common Terms Agreement for the total amount of USD 221 million. The aim of these Agreements is to finance local expenses under the project.
Thus the total amount of Agreements signed under the Common Terms Agreement is USD 1,441 billion and will be used for the financing of the construction of polypropylene production complex in Tobolsk, Tyumen region, Russia, executed by OOO ‘Tobolsk-Polymer” and sponsored by Sibur Holding.
CA-CIB is acting as Global Coordinator and Documentation Agent for the financing and Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A. and Deutsche Bank as SACE Agent and Facility Agent, respectively, for the SACE Facility Agreement. CA-CIB is also acting as Commercial Facility Agent for the 2 Commercial Loan Facilities.
