Moldova and Russia Will Carry on Negotiations on Wine Delivery
OREANDA-NEWS. July 12, 2010. Iurie Leanca, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova and Valery Kuzmin, Ambassador of Russian Federation to Moldova, have discussed this at the meeting in Chisinau. The Ambassador communicated on the readiness of Russia to discuss with Moldova the ways of their overcoming.
At the beginning of the next week the delegation of Moldovan government headed by Valeriu Cosarciuc, Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry, will go to Moscow. They will carry on negotiations with responsible representatives of Russian specialized institutions in order to find the appropriate solutions to unblock the wine deliveries to Russia.
Before, Vladimir Filat has already expressed his hope for early solution of all technical problems and barriers to wine deliveries to Russia. As it was announced by Gennady Onishchenko, Chief Sanitary Inspector of Russia, head of Rospotrebnadzor, to Russian MSM, from June 26th to July 7th the agency rejected more than 220 thousand litres of bottled wine and over 23 thousand decalitres of wine materials from Moldova - 52 wine batches in total.
At the same time, in compliance with sanitary requirements were formalized 32 batches of Moldovan wine, cognac and wine materials in total volume of 297 575 litres and 15 913 decalitres of wine materials. It is the production of the same companies, - said Gennady Onishchenko.
