OREANDA-NEWS. July 09, 2010. Belarusbank delegation took part in the annual Global Borrowers and Investors Forum, which was held in London, UK.

The Forum is one of the key events for financial market players which delivers the latest updates and comments on the condition of the global financial market and prospects of its future development. This year more than 1000 delegates from global investment banks, financial market- and policy-makers took part in the Forum, including Bank of America Merill Lynch, BNP Paribas, Deutsche Bank, HSBC and others.

At the event Belarusbank had placed a corporate exhibition stand on the premises where Belarusbank representatives had a chance to acquaint foreign investors and bankers, distribute promotional materials about Belarus and Belarusbank, describing activities and plans of the largest bank of the country. On the opening day of the Forum the Belarusbank stand was visited by Mr. Aleksandr Mikhnevich, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the United Kingdom and Ireland, who noted a high level of Belarusian representation at the event.  

Beside the discussions with Forum delegates within the event agenda, Belarusbank representatives had a series of business negotiations on a bilateral basis with Belarusbank strategic partners and investors where a number of future DCM borrowing projects were highlighted.
