OREANDA-NEWS. July 09, 2010. For the period from April 1, 2010 to June 30, 2010 the trading volume on FORTS, derivatives section of RTS, reached RUB7,639.1 billion or 164.7 million contracts, including RUB1,152.6 billion during the evening trading session. As of the end of the reviewed period the open interest stood at RUB139.5 billion or 4.4 million contracts.

In II Quarter the trading volume in the cash-settled gasoil futures contract that was launched by RTS Group and Saint Petersburg Exchange reached RUB389.7 million or 23.6 thousand contracts. The trading volume in the power futures contract that was also recently introduced by RTS Group and Saint Petersburg Exchange reached RUB10.67 million or 299 contracts.
