OREANDA-NEWS. July 07, 2010. Bohdan Motors, the major car maker in Ukraine, has increased production of passenger cars by 46.3% mom in June up to 1,852 (vs. 1,266 in May), the company representative announced July 6. Meanwhile, in 1H2010 the company has cut its production by 7% yoy.

Millennium Capital: the news is positive for LUAZ, because of the substantial demand growth the company recorded in June. Overall, the production figures are still below the previous year level, although we expect a significant improvement in local consumer activity closer to the year-end driven by banks resuming lending.
