TNK-BP Management Pays Working Visit to Orenburg Region
OREANDA-NEWS. July 07, 2010. German Khan, OJSC TNK-BP Management’s Executive Director, Maxim Barskiy, the Company’s Deputy Chairman of the Board and Yuri Berg, Governor of the Orenburg region, visited the Zaykinskoe gas refining plant and OJSC Orenburgneft’s Rostashinskoe field late last week where they met with the workers of these subsidiaries, reported the press-centre of TNK-BP.
Company management held a meeting with heads of TNK-BP subsidiaries from the Orenburg region and contractor organisations in Buzuluk. German Khan spoke of the Company’s plans to create contractor coordination councils. Maxim Barskiy shared the Company’s strategic plans with the participants: “Our objective is to become the largest private oil company in Russia. To achieve this objective TNK-BP has a significant potential in terms of reserves, possibilities, infrastructure and technologies”. According to Maxim Barskiy, human resources should become one of the priority development areas in the Company. To further this goal more proactive measures have been proposed to capitalise on the internal potential: identify and motivate employees with leadership skills and pay particular attention to training.
TNK-BP’s Executive Director German Khan took part in an official meeting with the Governor of the Orenburg region Yuri Berg. During the meeting the two leaders discussed TNK-BP’s development prospects in the region, ways to generate tax revenues for the budget, implementation of investment projects and social partnership cooperation.
