IDGC of Centre Eliminates Consequences of Hurricane
OREANDA-NEWS. July 06, 2010. Thunderstorm front accompanied by stormy wind and heavy rains became the reason of power supply interruption in a number of regions of the Central federal district.
Operational and repair teams of IDGC of Centre equipped with all necessary special machinery and devices started immediately elimination of power disturbances. First of all power supply of socially significant facilities was restored. Currently the works are being carried on at all damaged overhead transmission lines.
2 OTL-110 kv, 2 OTL-35 kv, 160 TS remain still disconnected. 28 teams, 37 units of special machinery are working at power restoration.
As of
Emergency response center governed by Sergey Shumakher, Deputy General Director for Technical Policy of the Company, is established and enhanced control over the course of elimination of consequences of technological disturbances is put in IDGC of Centre. Dispatching services monitor hourly restoration of facilities. Notwithstanding elimination of consequences of the hurricane, the power grid complex of IDGC of Centre is working in normal operation mode.
