OREANDA-NEWS. July 06, 2010. The National Agency for Energy Regulation issued to Moldavskaya GRES a new license for electricity production for the term of 6 months due to expiry of previous license validity.

This decision was made on the basis of governmental regulation, providing the economic agents of Transdniestrian region, temporary registered in the State Registry of Moldova, the right to get the licenses for different kinds of activity, being subjected to licensing. In the beginning of 2010 the Agency has issued the similar license to Moldavskaya GRES for the term of 6 months. During the Ist six months ANRE has issued 13 more licenses for activities on oil products market.

As of July 1st, 2010, ANRE has issued 238 licenses to 155 economic agents for carrying out different activities on energetic market of Moldova. At present, on energetic market are working 18 economic agents, possessing 21 licenses, on natural gas market – 27 companies (54), and on oil products market – 11 companies. According to current legislation, ANRE issues the licenses for the term of 25 years for activity on electro-energy and natural gas markets, and for the term of 5 years – on oil products market. Payment for licenses goes directly to state budget.
