OREANDA-NEWS. July 05, 2010. Zaporozhtransformatorparticipated in VII International scientific and technical conference "Safety, efficiency and economics of nuclear power engineering" which took place in Moscow.

This conference is regularly held by JSC "Concern Rosatom".

Evgeniy Gurevich, Head of design department 750 kV, made a report “New developments and perspective programs of JSC ZTR” within the subsection “Improvement of electrical equipment, monitoring and control systems of NPP”.

Perspective development tendencies of engineering and production of ZTR, improvements as for design and characteristics of manufactured transformer and reactor equipment were reported. Report comprised of such items as new engineering solutions aimed at improvement of operating efficiency and reliable performance of equipment, such as fitting of transformers and reactors with monitoring systems, having a unique mathematical algorithm of control, developed at ZTR, as well as technology of fitting of equipment with optical fiber sensors for temperature measurement of inner parts that allows to evaluate fully the state of equipment and to monitor automatically its operating modes.

Participation of ZTR in this conference is of high mutual interest, considering the fact that nuclear power engineering of Russia is equipped for 95% with unit transformers manufactured by ZTR, and ZTR continues to be the major supplier of transformer equipment for Rosenergoatom.
