OREANDA-NEWS. July 02, 2010. JSC Aeroflot Russian Airlines has reviewed its performance in May and five months of 2010, reported the press-centre of Aeroflot.                                               

In May 2010,the number of passengers carried by Aeroflot increased 31.4% compared to the same period of 2009, and reached 914.0 thousand (including 0.8 thousand by charter). International traffic volume grew by 34.1% (+145.0 thousand), domestic – by 27.2% (+73.5 thousand). Passenger turnover added 38.1% reaching 2.731 billion passenger kilometers. Passenger load factor in May was 75.5%, 10.9 percentage points higher than in the last year. Revenue load amounted to 64.0%, 11.6 percentage points up from last year’s figure.

In the five months of 2010, the number of passengers carriedby Aeroflot increased by 30.9% to reach 4.051 million passengers;passenger turnover amounted to 12.459 billion passenger kilometers, which is 36% higher compared to the same period of 2009. Passenger load factor also grew to reach 74.1%, which is 12.0 percentage points higher than the last year's figure.Revenue load was 61.3%, 11.7 up from the last year's level.
