OREANDA-NEWS. July 02, 2010. The Government is to pass at its meeting a number of legislative instruments aimed at strengthening social protection and improving the health care system of our citizens. Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov emphasized this at the meeting of the CMU.

Mykola Azarov has informed that the Government has developed a draft law on prevention of HIV infection, the legal and social protection of citizens that will improve prevention of this disease, especially among the youth, prevent spread of the infection and strengthen social protection of population and health workers facing this disease. According to him, the Government also intends to increase assistance to children diagnosed with "HIV".

The Prime Minister stressed that the Government is to adopt the order of procurement of lodgings for vision and hearing impaired persons.

Mykola Azarov noted that on the agenda of the Government - the decision to create new jobs for maintaining employment in coal mining regions: "It will reduce social tension in the labor market of Volyn, Donetsk, Zhytomyr, Kirovograd, Luhansk, Lviv and Cherkasy regions".

According to him, among the decisions of the Government there are changes of requirements for economic entities that provide employment services abroad. "We want to strengthen the responsibility of mediators for concluding a labor contract in accordance with the ILO standards", emphasized Mykola Azarov noted that this document was agreed by representatives of all-Ukrainian trade unions and their associations as well as all-Ukrainian unions of employers.

Meanwhile, according to Mykola Azarov, the Government continues to simplify regulatory procedures. Thereby, the Cabinet of Ministers during today's meeting will consider a draft resolution on the development, coordination, approval, amendment and repeal of construction standards and improvement of registration procedure of cargo in containers that arrive in Ukraine by water modes of transport.
