OREANDA-NEWS. July 02, 2010. People's Bank, a state commercial bank, operates actively on the fulfillment of the presidential resolution "On additional measures to stimulate the increase of share of long-term credits of commercial banks directed on financing investment projects".

The bank's credit portfolio has increased by 144.7 billion soums from the beginning of 2010 and made up 564.7 billion soums.

The bank allocated credits worth 232.3 billion soums during the five months of 2010, of which 62.9 billion soums were directed on financing investment projects.
