OREANDA-NEWS. July 02, 2010. Orient Finans, a private open joint-stock commercial bank, has been licensed to carry out all types of banking operations by the resolution of the Board of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan.

Orient Finans has been registered in the State Commercial Banks Registrar. Charter capital of the bank exceeds 11.48 million soums with individuals' share in the capital of 80%. Opening of this bank is an example of implementation of the President's Decree "On measures to stimulate the creation of private commercial banks".

Priority directions of activity of Orient Finans bank are: assistance in deepening social and economic reforms, financing small and private business projects, stimulating the formation of the new class of proprietors in Uzbekistan.
