OREANDA-NEWS. June 30, 2010. M2M Telematica subsidiary in Ryazan installed Integrated Route Data Table (IRDT) in the city. It tells the passengers about traffic in real time. The first table of this type appeared at the bus stop in the central square of the city. 

IRDT uses the data acquired from GLONASS/GPS urban transport monitoring center. It is capable of predicting arrival of the bus with accuracy of up to 1 min, and to display it in the table.

The service is free for local citizens.  IRDT has been developed under the program which implies GLONASS introduction in the region, through equipping all transport vehicles with navigational equipment which downloads the data into the dispatcher center.    

Currently, GLONASS equipment is functioning on 510 vehicles. All the vehicles will be equipped with the sensors by Sept this year.

Under the project, M2M supports a set of unique internet-services, including traffic jam warning in      www.probki62.ru and transport traffic in www.bus62.ru in real time (the delay is up to 1 min). Mobile versions of the SW are also available for use.
