OREANDA-NEWS. June 29, 2010. In compliance with the adopted strategy Azerbaijan’s TuranBank continues paying special attention to priority direction – risk management.

TuranBank informs that answering to requirements of time it sets a strategic goal to expand and strengthen risk management and form culture of risk management.

“In this connection we became a corporate member of the Association of Risk Professionals of Azerbaijan (ARPA),” the Bank said.

ARPA, as a professional association, unites in its ranks finance, corporate governance and risk management specialists. Relations organized by members and regulating agencies in ARPA promote to development of new technologies of risk management and introduction of innovation products.

“Membership in the ARPA enables TuranBank to co-operate with the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP). The Bank’s specialists earlier also participated in many international seminars on bank risk management organized by GARP and ARPA. In addition, TuranBank’s specialists passed GARP certification,” the Bank informed.
