OREANDA-NEWS. June 29, 2010. Ukrsotsbank notifies criminal actions of owners of Puzata Hata network.

Ukrsotsbank – one of the leading domestic banks with foreign capital – is a financial partner of Puzata Hata catering network. The total funding provided by the Bank accounts to more than USD 70 million excluding interest. It is due to timely financial support that the network remains one of the leading operators in the Ukrainian market for a long time.

During the entire period of cooperation the Bank has always been friendly towards the needs of the network. Last year already USB met the wishes of the network owners and changed the terms of payment of interest and repayment of the loan, enabling the network to cope with the effects of the financial crisis. However, such partnership actions of Ukrsotsbank did not prevent the network owners from refusing to perform obligations to the Bank.

At the beginning of 2010, no consent of the Bank being received, the Company managing the catering was replaced, and the bank-borrower Company declared bankrupt. Thus, all the network units are continuing to work, but all the income goes to the Company which has not formally received any funding from the Bank and is not responsible for its maintenance. As a result of such machinations and fraudulent bankruptcy the network owners have actually expressed their desire to steal the money received from the Bank.

Ukrsotsbank officially condemns the criminal actions of the Puzata Hata network owners and firmly states that it will do its best to make all those responsible individuals criminally answerable and collect the debts to the Bank in full amount. Th Bank officials have already appealed to the relevant law enforcement agencies and senior government officials in Ukraine. In addition Ukrsotsbank encourages domestic and foreign businesses to refrain from relations with the network as an unreliable business partner.
