OREANDA-NEWS. June 29, 2010. Baltika Breweries has begun production of Nevsky Imperial beer. The launch of this brew is the start of a new chapter in the history of one of the oldest premium beer brands on the Russian market.

The new ‘Nevsky’ brand vehicle links the beer to the wealth of the Russian Empire during the 18th and 19th centuries. Nevsky Imperial is a classic, mild-tasting 4.6% ABV lager that’s easy to drink. The brew will be sold in 0.5 -litre bottles with a twist-off cap.

Baltika Brewery (RTS:PKBA MICEX:PKBA) is the largest brewery in Eastern Europe and the second-largest brewery in Europe (after Heineken Brewery). It is based in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
