BTA Bank Delays Payment of 12th Coupon on Bonds
OREANDA-NEWS. June 29, 2010. BTA Bank (Almaty) informed Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) the bank paid the twelfth coupon interest on subordinated bonds KZ2CKY10B158 (KASE, 'buffer category', BTASb4; KZT10,000, KZT14.0 bn; 10.06.04 - 10.06.14; semiannual coupon indexed to inflation rate, 8.00 % APR as for the reporting coupon period, 30/360), reported the press-centre of KASE.
According to the prospectus of the bonds BTA Bank had to pay the interest in the period June 10 through June 23, 2010.
BTA Bank informed in the letter:
BTA Bank paid no coupon interest on subordinated bonds of the fourth issue (KZ2CKY10B158) included in the buffer category on KASE, for the coupon period December 10, 2009 through June 10, 2010 as BTA Bank had stopped to pay interest on its obligations.
