OREANDA-NEWS. June 28, 2010. According to the annual rating of “Ekonomichna Pravda” conducting among 25 largest banks in Ukraine UniCredit Bank ranked 3 as the most reliable bank out of  25 largest  banks in Ukraine.

The evaluation was based on experts’ estimations plus on the estimations of specialists of ten leading investment companies in Ukraine. The list of the respondents includes Altana Capital, "Socrates", Foyil, "TASK", BG Capital, "ART-Capital", "Dragon Capital", "Concord", "Quinta" and "Group Bonum".

The specialist filled in the table in which each bank was characterized by eight criteria. According to the issue, each of the eight criteria has an impact on overall “health” of the institution. This impact was converted into percentage rate. Criterion “Quality of credit portfolio” got 16%, “Customer service level” - 9%, “Quality and loyalty of customer base” - 8%, "Image" - 10%, “Professional level of management” - 8%, “Level of parent company support” - 18%, "Strategy on the market” - 11%, “Current financial stability” - 20%.

UniCredit Bank used customer centricity approach in its daily work that’s why the Bank was among rating leaders in new category “Customer service level” which was not used in previous surveys but getting high importance in current situation in banking. The criterion “Quality and loyalty of customer base” brought second place in rating for UniCredit Bank, having proved much attention paid by UniCredit Bank to the process of developing proper relations with depositors in bank’s daily activity as well as to the strong positioning of loan demands.

According to the analysts assessment the banks can be divided into several groups with the “good” as the best mark for the group and “terrible” as the worst one. As of total assessment results UniCredit Bank ranked 2 in “stable” group which also includes 8 largest banks in Ukraine.
