Kapital Bank to Continue Fostering Non-Cash Payments in Azerbaijan
OREANDA-NEWS. June 25, 2010. Azerbaijan’s Kapital Bank has awarded the winners of stimulating campaign Bazar Olsun launched on 1 December 2009 and finished on 31 May 2010.
Samira Sharifova, the director of the Bank’s Strategic Development & Marketing Department, says that currently KB owns 2 million cards issues in Azerbaijan.
“650,000 of them are wage cards. The campaign covered KB wage card holders who by paying through this card for goods and services had an opportunity to become one of the campaign winners,” Sharifova said.
She added that this was not the last campaign of the Bank aimed to popularize use of non-cash payments among the population.
“We are going to keep on further such campaigns to stimulate noncash payments in the country,” Sharifova said.
