OREANDA-NEWS. June 25, 2010. Russian Ministry of Transport prepared and posted a draft order "On Approval of Rules of Cargo Transportation On Inland Waterways”.

The new rules establish the procedure for goods transportation on inland waterway transport, forms and procedure for completing the shipping documents, the delivery of goods and the method of calculating of such time periods, as well as other issues referred to those that are governed by the rules of the Code of Inland Water Transport of the Russian Federation. The rules are binding for all those involved in legal relationships governed by the rules, the document said.
