OREANDA-NEWS. June 25, 2010. I.T. Co. implemented Microsoft license project for National Bank TRUST. In accordance with the terms of the contract, I.T. Co. supplied TRUST with more than 6000 software licenses.

National Bank TRUST has business activities in Russia since 1995. Currently, National Bank TRUST enjoys presence in 170 Russian cities, providing services to individuals and legal entities through its 200 offices spread across the country.

Following the results of the tender, I.T. Co. was appointed contractor and supplied TRUST with various Microsoft software licenses. From the existing range of Microsoft software licenses, the client made its choice on Open License. It involves the purchase of permanent licenses (with no expiration terms) for any Microsoft product. Additionally, due to the acquired Microsoft Software Assurance maintenance program, the bank assured its access to updated versions and products that will be released during the terms of the corporate agreement, as well as to obtain free training and support services.

Microsoft Windows Server 2008 licenses represent the major part of supplied software. This software, due to its strong network and cluster technologies, allows building a universal and, what is more important, reliable platform for all existing applications, and at the same time ensuring efficient distribution of workload. As a result, it guarantees a sustained operation of the bank’s information systems, critical for any financial institution.
