OREANDA-NEWS. June 25, 2010. OJSC Nordea Bank has reached an agreement with RODEX Group, as part of which it has become possible for people to buy a cottage in the Company’s gated communities using a mortgage loan with the Bank against an owned realty as collateral, reported the press-centre of Nordea Bank.

The realty as collateral may be in form of an owned, including by a third party, apartment, residential (garden) house, land plot, commercial premises located in Moscow region or in any other region where the Bank is present. The maximal loan amount is at most 85% of the mortgaged apartment’s market value; at most 70% of the residential (garden) house’s market value or that of commercial premises. The maximal maturity of a loan is 30 years.

Besides the long maturity, this program is set apart from others by its low interest rates: from 7% per annum in a foreign currency and from 9.5% per annum in rubles and by affording a customer the opportunity of choosing between differential (amortizing) and annuity (in equal installments) types of repayment under a loan, no restriction as to the number of owners mortgaging a property to the Bank (except for under-age children) and the number of those registered there, as well as free loan application consideration. A borrower’s income may be documented both in form of the official tax statement and otherwise.

"Cooperation of Nordea Bank with RODEX Group will help our customers to obtain a loan for purchasing the country property of various price segments not only in Moscow suburbs, but also, for example, in Saint-Petersburg, Samara or Yaroslavl" - says Deputy Chairman of the OJSC Nordea Bank’s Management Board, Andrei Maltsev.

The Member of Management Board of RODEX Group Igor Zaugolnikov stresses that: "Thanks to the joint mortgage program of Nordea Bank with RODEX Group, now it is possible for us to help a greater number of people buy a country house without being strangled by the interest rate, as under this program it is one of the best of those available on the market".
