OREANDA-NEWS. June 24, 2010. The aggregate insurance compensation paid by ROSNO’s North-Western Directorate to a private client under two property insurance contracts equalled 1,337,277 roubles. The reason for both insured accidents is fire, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

The log houses located in St. Petersburg Region, with the total space of over one thousand square meters, owned by the same client, were set ablaze by an unknown malefactor. The resultant fire damaged the buildings and their internal furnishing and plumbing systems.

The country real estate had been insured under the program "Podvor’e", which covered the following risks: fire, lightning stroke, explosion, aircraft impact, burglary, robbery and brigandage; unlawful third-party actions, and natural disasters: storm, hail, flood, earthquake, volcanic eruption, mudslide, mudflow, avalanche, snow pressure; glass breakage, and rescue-related expenses.
