Jointly with the Dr.Web company, OJSC North-West Telecom provides the Avangard service subscribers throughout the Northwestern Federal District with an opportunity of using the advanced Dr.Web antivirus solutions by subscribing for them via the web interface   ( - personal office ) on the product web site ( Avangard ).

The possibility of getting connected to Dr.Web Antivirus provides the Avangard service subscribers with reliable licensed antivirus protection instantly, without leaving their homes, thus saving them the trouble of buying any “box” solutions or using less reliable free software.

A subscriber may manage the subscription for Dr.Web Antivirus independently and plan his/her expenses for antivirus protection: the required subscription period can be chosen and prolonged.

The service is provided on tick, payment to be effected on the monthly basis under the general invoice for OJSC N.W.Telecom’s communication service s. After the fist connection to the antivirus service s, the subscriber gets a bonus – a free period of using the information protection solution.

The monthly subscriber fee for the Dr.Web Antivirus service is from 59 to 89 roubles depending on rate packages.

At the moment, the following rate package s are available to users of the Avangard service:
Dr.Web Classic, the minimum necessary protection of a personal computer (PC) from viruses, including antivirus  rootkit unhooker and antispy software;
Dr.Web Standard, the PC basic protection strengthened with antispam protection, including antivirus , rootkit unhooker, antispy and antispam software;
Dr.Web Premium, the basic protection of a PC from web threats, including antivirus, rootkit unhooker, antispy, antispam, web- antivirus software , and the Parental Control service.

To activate Dr.Web Antivirus, a subscriber of Avangard must log in his/her personal office ( http://www.avangard-dsl.ru/ru/lk ) and select the required rate package in the Antivirus Protection section. Then the subscriber will be suggested to execute or save an installation file that will install the programme and connect to the antivirus servier.
