OREANDA-NEWS. June 22, 2010. Azerbaijani entrepreneurs have presented investment projects for consideration of investors form Islamic countries.

Adil Mammadov, the president of the Azerbaijan Export & Investment Promotion Foundation (Azpromo), says that presentation of projects was organized at yesterday’s investment conference “Business Opportunities in Azerbaijan & other CIS countries” (dated to coincide with Islamic Development Bank’s annual meeting (20-24 June 2010).

“Eight projects on Azerbaijan relating mainly to sector of manufacture and construction were presented for potential investors from Islamic countries,” he said.

Mammadov added that Cahan Holding presented a project on construction of tile producer factory in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. On project was presented by Azersun Holding.

“A project of Dream Island envisages construction of a town in Azerbaijan,” Mammadov emphasized.

Investors were also presented a project in the area of ecology and construction of housing estate Ag Sheherim (My White City).
