OREANDA-NEWS. June 21, 2010. Rosenergoatom Concern which operates all Russian nuclear power plants became the shareholder of 100% shares of Electrogorsk Research and Engineering Centre on Nuclear Power Stations Safety OJSC (Moscow region)

Formerly, Rosenergoatom did not have any shares in the centre capital. The details of the deal are not reported. Electrogorsk Research and Engineering Centre on NPP Safety (ERDC) was founded in 1956 and is one of the leading research platforms of Russian nuclear-power complex. The centre carries out development, testing and introduction of innovative research-and-engineering solutions and technologies which contribute to the improvement of safety, security and efficiency of operation of existing and constructed NPPs.
