OREANDA-NEWS. June 21, 2010. Leading steel pipe and railway wheels maker Interpipe has strengthened its position in the energy market in the Middle East with prequalifications from the region’s leading oil and gas companies.

In the first half of 2010, Interpipe gained prequalification from the Ministry of Oil and Gas of the Sultanate of Oman, the Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Oil Operations (ADCO, UAE), the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC, Egypt) as well as the Kuwait Oil Company (KOC, Kuwait). The product range approved as a result of prequalification includes pipes for exploration, extraction and the transportation of oil and gas.
