OREANDA-NEWS. June 18, 2010. The Government will allocate 65 million UAH to purchase necessary equipment for drug quality control laboratories. The Prime Minister has given such an order today at a meeting on the availability for the population of qualitative medicines, medical products and pharmaceutical drugs.

"We will find 65 million and buy this laboratory", said Mykola Azarov. Regions Party MP Tatyana Bakhteyeva, speaking at the meeting, has noted that in Ukraine there is no laboratory that can precisely control the quality of medicines. According to her, such a laboratory will be established under the State Inspection for Quality Control of Medicines.
