OREANDA-NEWS. June 17, 2010. The Astrakhan branch of Ingosstrakh OJSIC has entered into an insurance contract with the peasant farm enterprise (PFE) I.V. Tsoy located in the village of Pologoye Zaymishche of the Akhtubinsk district of the Astrakhan Region.       

The insured item is the future harvest of vegetables: onions, carrots, beetroots and potatoes. The total insured amount is 7.3 mln. rubles.

Under the contract, the future harvest has been insured against failure or partial loss due to the impact of natural phenomena than may cause peril to the farming industry, such as frost-killing, light frosts, asphyxiation, soil overwetting, heavy rains, dust (sand) storms, hail, spring high water, drought and mud flow.

The insured property is subject of pledge with one of the state commercial banks on the loan obtained.
