OREANDA-NEWS. June 17, 2010. Flights are operated twice a week – on Wednesdays and Sundays by UIA`s modern Boeing 737 aircraft in two class cabin configuration – Business class and Economy class. In the future, depending on demand, the frequency of flights may be increased, reported the press-centre of UIA.

The UIA flight between Donetsk and Lvov is the first flight in the history of Ukrainian aviation, which connects the Western and Eastern capitals of Ukraine.

“The expansion of our domestic flight network is a part of the long-term development strategy of the company, – said UIA Corporate Press Secretary Evgeniya Satskaya. – Besides, the opening of the flight connecting Donetsk and Lvov is a momentous event not only for UIA, but for the whole of Ukrainian society. Until now, there has been no direct air connection between the Eastern and Western regions of Ukraine, that’s why Ukraine International Airlines are proud to build this historical air bridge”.
