OREANDA-NEWS. June 17, 2010. Ukraine International Airlines operated its first direct flight Donetsk - Dubrovnik - Donetsk. Opening a regular flight to Croatia is conditioned by growing demand of the Eastern Ukraine in direct regular connection with European resorts. Such connection is especially important in the height of summer holiday season, reported the press-centre of UIA.

Direct UIA flight from Donetsk to Croatia, which is a visa-free zone for Ukrainian citizens from April till October, lets the residents of the Eastern capital of Ukraine and neighboring regions quickly and comfortably reach the coast of Adriatic sea – the cleanest and one of the most beautiful seas in the world.

Flights are operated weekly on Saturdays.

Croatia offers tourists a lot of opportunities for great holidays – the best European beaches, amazing beauty of the nature, thermal springs, excellent Mediterranean cuisine, the ancient cities introduced into the UNESCO list of mankind’s cultural heritage, and various festivals. Comfortable non-stop flight is operated by UIA`s modern Boeing 737 aircraft in two class cabin configurations – Business class and Economy class and takes about 3 hours.
