OREANDA-NEWS. June 16, 2010. A senior delegation of Rio Tinto Diamonds visited the sites of OJSC Severalmaz in the Arkhangelsk region. The delegation consisted of top managers in charge of technology, innovation and financial sector management, having considerable experience in the diamond business, reported the press-centre of ALROSA.

"Alrosa" was represented by Vice-President Sergei Pushkin, chief geologist & deputy executive director Sergei Mityukhin, Presidential Adviser of ALROSA Sergei Mezhokh.

The guests visited the quarry and the processing plant of the Lomonosov GOK, where they got acquainted with all stages of diamond production and received clarification from specialists of OJSC Severalmaz and ALROSA.

During the meeting a productive exchange of experienc on issues of technology and organization of diamond production took place.
