OREANDA-NEWS. June 11, 2010. The government has allocated 3.5 billion UAH for vacation payments to teachers at increased salaries. Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said this opening the meeting.

"In June we will fully finance vacation payments to teachers, and according to increased salaries. 3,5 billion UAH is provided for this purpose", emphasized Mykola Azarov.

The Prime Minister also said that the country's fiscal situation finally stabilized. Thus, according to him, the real operating deficit is much lower than the government predicted in the law on the state budget.

Moreover, Mykola Azarov noted that during the last two months the Government has financed without interruption increased salaries and pensions, paid compensations for the January-April 2010 and first-rate increase of the single tariff scale and at the same time is paying off debts of the previous Government.
