Tallinn Port Interested in Chinese Goods Distribution
OREANDA-NEWS. June 10, 2010. Estonia's Minister of Economy and Communications Juhan Parts, accompanied with a business delegation, is visiting China and the World EXPO in Shanghai.
Mr Parts will meet with executives of leading Chinese transport companies, such as China Shipping, COSCO and Sinotrans, to discuss the option of setting up a logistics and distribution centre for Chinese goods in Estonia. Estonian state-owned port operator, the Port of Tallinn, seeking a partner to operate the expanding container terminal at Muuga Port in Tallinn, is interested in setting up a distribution centre for Chinese goods to be operated by a Chinese company.
