OREANDA-NEWS. June 10, 2010. Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation announced the results of the competition for the title of "Best Russian Exporter 2009" and JSC IRKUT was declared as the winner of the aircraft industry nomination

 IRKUT Corporation wins the "Best Exporter of the industry" title for the second year in a row.

The contest is held to support exports of industrial products. Winners are determined by the method developed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade on the basis of enterprises’ consolidated reports of export.

President of JSC IRKUT Corporation Oleg Demchenko said: "The steady growth of exports allows us to invest in the development of the productive base. IRKUT intensively involves advanced technologies, preparing to deploy the passenger aircraft family MC-21."
