OREANDA-NEWS. June 10, 2010. Developing the system of online-payments Sibirtelecom provides all its subscribers with new possibilities of payment for communication services using a bank card. Before online-payment with a bank card was possible only via internet-system for support of Sibirtelecom subscribers (ISPA). Today any internet user of the Company can do it. Therefore, implementation of internet-shop project was completed.

Unlike payment “from personal account” of ISPA, the new service with VisaMasterCard shows no personal data. And this means that in on-line mode a subscriber can transfer money on-line for communication services to account of another subscriber. Besides, the new service has no territorial restrictions, payment can be performed anywhere where there is access to the internet.

“Sibirtelecom values the time of its customers, thus we do our best to provide new features of convenience,” said Ivan Dadykin, General Director of Sibirtelecom OJSC.  “Today regardless of a subscriber’s location he or she can pay for communication services in just few minutes.”

It should be said that the first online-payment with a bank card in the internet was made in November 2009, and in May 2010 total payments by subscribers of Sibirtelecom OJSC with bank cards reached one million rubles. The Company is constantly working for development of the network of online-payments, actively increases the share of online-payments and number of partners. So in March 2010 we set the next record: total monthly amount of online-payments exceeded 1 billion rubles. Today Sibirtelecom subscribers can make such payments via payment systems of territorial banks of Sberbank, Gazprombank, regional offices of Telecomservice OJSC, federal system Gorod, regional and federal payment terminals networks.
