OREANDA-NEWS. June 10, 2010. BALT-AUDIT-EXPERT held a successful presentation of its developed project - a strategy of the social and economic development for the municipal establishment KOTLAS (Arkhangelsk Region) up to the year 2030. The key objective of the project is to establish the municipal establishment KOTLAS as a leading transport, trade, cultural and educational center of the sub-region ‘South of Arkhangelsk – North of Vologda Regions’, reported the press-centre of Energy Consulting.

As Prof. Leonid Ivanovsky, Head of the Consulting Practice in BALT-AUDIT-EXPERT acknowledges, "Within the framework of the project development, the Company has reviewed the current performance in KOTLAS, has determined the mission and strategic targets and routes for the development of the municipal establishment , has drafted the target model and has set a list of the program events".

The next phases of the work are aimed at development of an assessment and monitoring system for the control over the Strategy progress, as well as they envisage to prepare the Strategy to the approval by the members of KOTLAS and to the next publishing. The final package of documents on this Strategy shall be submitted to the KOTLAS Administration by July 1st, 2010.

The public consultations on the Strategy discussions have involved the following categories of the participants such as inhabitants of the KOTLAS region, representatives of business community, members of the KOTLAS Assembly, members of the Arkhangelsk Regional Assembly, and top-managers and experts from the KOTLAS Administration.
