OREANDA-NEWS. June 08, 2010. Specialists of OJSC Samotlorneftegaz (subsidiary of TNK-BP) started testing a well rejuvenation new technology capable of increasing the well performance by 10–15% in average, reported the press-centre of TNK-BP.

This technology was developed by the Canadian company BigS Corporation for wells with low performance and wells with gas shows.

When necessary, the mobile equipment required for the technology may be taken down and relocated. The test will last for a month. During this period, the technology will be tested on three well pads. According to specialists, the first pilot tests are successful. If the results of tests in other wells are positive, the new technology will be extensively integrated at the facilities of Samotlorneftegaz.
